SHAHRUL AZUAN MOHAMED is LRe’s Non-Executive Director since July 31st 2015 and is the Chairman of the Risk Committee and a member of the Investment Committee.Shahrul is the Chief Executive Officer of Etiqa General Takaful Berhad (ETGB) and is a seasoned professional with more than 30 years’ experience in the general and life insurance and takaful industries in Malaysia.

Shahrul holds a Fellowship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute as well as a Fellowship in the Asian Institue of Insurance, is as Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance (ANZIIF), a Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP), an Affiliate in Financial Planning of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council. He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Malaysian Takaful Association and the Chairman of the Board of the Central Administration Bureau (CAB) Supervisory Board
