CELINE joined on March 10th 2022 as the Chief Investment Officer of Labuan Re and has since played a pivotal role in transforming the investment team. Over the past two years, she has developed a new investment roadmap, enhanced investment processes, and optimized returns through robust asset allocation strategies. Notably, Celine led the restructuring of the investment portfolios, effectively managing risk and enhancing investment income to deliver resilient and sustainable profitability for the organization.

She began her career in investment as an analyst and has accumulated over a decade of experience across two insurance companies. During this time, she served as a credit and equity analyst, covering a wide range of companies and sectors. She was later promoted to Portfolio Manager, where she managed both local and foreign equity portfolios for ING Insurance and AIA Bhd.

Prior to joining Labuan Re, Celine was a Senior Portfolio Manager at AIA Pension and Asset Management Sdn Bhd, where she managed equity and fixed income portfolios. She spearheaded the reconstruction of investment portfolios with a focus on achieving sustainable long-term returns for pension funds. Celine holds a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, and was a licensed Capital Markets Services Representative.
