WILLIAM joined on June 20th 2022 as the Head of Human Resources & Administration of Labuan Re.

He has over 25 years at senior level on Human Resources from the Insurance, Banking, and Information Technology industries with involvement mostly in strategic Human Resources, Transformations, Merger & Acquisition, and Industrial Relations. His experiences covered South-East Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau. Prior to joining Labuan Re, William was the former Head of Human Resources with The Pacific Insurance Berhad and AmGeneral Insurance Berhad/Kurnia Insurans. At Pacific Insurance, he held additional roles being the Advisor in the CEO Office and Advisor to the Prudential Affinity Business where his tasks expanded to manage Business Continuity Planning, Corporate Communication and Company Secretarial Administration. Prior to this, he was with Hong Leong Group (both Bank & Insurance) and a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young Management Consulting.

William attended Masters’ studies in Business Administration as well as undergraduate studies in Finance and Science with Education majoring in Mathematics & Physics. He was a scholar under the AIG Starr Foundation, New York and has served as a Board member for a local Underprivileged Children Community Service for several years.
